Hire Immigrants Ottawa, a group that helps employers integrate skilled immigrants into the labour market, has been presented with an award for its work by Carleton University, a respected Canadian educational institution.
Hire Immigrants Ottawa works with employers, immigration and settlement agencies, and newcomers to Canada in order to help newcomers use their work experience and education in their countries of origin to join, and contribute to, the Canadian workforce.
The group, which has been in operation for four years, has helped more than 750 skilled immigrants find rewarding work in Canada.
